Miss T.

Miss T. had her first breakthrough with the tune “Woman”, which she recorded with a befriended Reggae Act in Vienna, Austria in 2001. The song was successful and was played on heavy rotation by the popular radio station FM4 and finally released on the sampler “FM4 Soundselction No. 8”, also on the Sampler Rubbadub Dancehall. Her second tune was called “Mash up” – Miss T. longside Aladin Sani, which was presented live in the Viennese Club Flex.In November 2003 Miss T. went to Jamaica and got a good response to her music and performance. She recorded in the Lion’s Den Studio of Barney Miller in Ochos Rios, where she met Mykal Rose (Black Uhuru) and the combination named “Enemy” emerged, also a dubplate by Miss T. for Wanja Sound. As the first Austrian, she recorded at the “Bobby Digital Studio” in Hughenden, the tune is called “Wine”, which was produced by Calibud. The Viennese artist also performed at a street dance with Aquarius Sound System, also met the members Super Love Soundsystem and had a jam session in Mobay.When the Miss T. came back to Vienna, she recorded many new tunes and dubplates, and started to select 45”, which she brought back from Jamaica. The first time happed at “Warehouse”-St. Pölten, Lower Austria, where people started to dance on stage - then she knew, that this was her second standing leg besides singing.So she founded her own soundsystem and played in several club in Lower Austria and Vienna. Since one and a half years Miss T. organises a reggae/dancehall club every first Friday in the month in a club called Luftbad in Vienna, where she selects and djs’. The party, which Miss T. brought to life was called "Miss T. & Friends, but now "Nice Vibes" and it is not only a place, where people are having fun and dance, it is also a plattform for internatinal artists in Vienna and Austria to perform and present their show. Every time new artists are invited to bring nice vibes and different flavours into the party and perform with Miss T. live on the mic and turntables. Following artists performed at Miss T. & Friends: Veteran Kodak, Lady Soul, Lady Ranks , Mostviertler Roots, Lethal Weapon Sound System, Mo Fyah, O$$ BO$$, Sick Chick & Radical, Boomarang Sound, Baby Rasta, Coalman, Buergermeister, Dj Tuff, Dj Buju, Papa Johnny, AML, Dj Kuriol, Red Army, Dj Tuff & MC Massaker, Ital Flames, The Underground Soundsystem, Dj Supafly, Bad Spenza, Shakadelix Soundsystem, The Masai Ghetto Warrior, Riddim National, Dj Crisp, Tomahawk, Shangrilla Soundsystem, Ras Kibz, Dj Julian, Dj Clemens, Royal Combo and many more.During the year 2005, Miss T. was travelling to London many times. Her tune, “The Lucky Ska”, written by Giada D. & Miss T., was mixed in a Studio in Notting Hill and remixed in Canada by Third Eye Tribe. She went back and forth, performed and recorded with Noah and finished the Alarm Album. In December 2006 Miss T. finished her first video with the song "Cut like Razor" and also recorded the tune "My Sound" which was remixed in Spring 2007!
