is a production company providing full services in presenting the performing arts, conference planning and special events. Its President, Mario A. Torres, has over twenty-five years of progressive management experience in the areas of cultural and economic development; government, community and corporate relations; as well as, entrepreneurial advocacy. His leadership has served various non-profits dedicated to enriching the lives of others.
For thirteen years, Torres was the Vice President of the Battery Park City Authority, where he also served as the Executive Producer of SOUNDS ON THE HUDSON, a free summer concert series in lower Manhattan that drew audiences ranging in the thousands. He was responsible for executing key elements of the production including:

In 1998, Torres together with fellow colleagues in state government service recommended the creation of the Bobby Capo Lifetime Achievement Awards to Governor George Pataki, who during Hispanic Heritage Month continues to give the awards to artists who have distinguished themselves by their commitment to community service. In September 2003, Torres was himself honored by the Governor and former award honorees, Johnny Pacheco, Yomo Toro and Orlando Marin, for his lifelong dedication to the arts and his leadership role in creating and spearheading the Bobby Capo Lifetime Achievement Awards.
Torres is a cultural visionary, as well as, a passionate advocate of minority and women owned businesses. His success in creating opportunities for both non-profits and entrepreneurs is a reflection on his leadership abilities and excellent people skills, which have allowed him to build relationships with major corporations, top appointed and elected officials, and community-based organizations as well as, with advocacy trade groups around the country and abroad. Torres is a pioneer in forging public-private partnerships with a proven track record for success.
In 2002, Torres was the subject of an HITN-TV documentary detailing his work in the arts and his involvement with the SOUNDS ON THE HUDSON music series, as well as, his role in the creation of Bobby Capo Awards.
Throughout his career, Torres has served on the governing Boards of various not-for-profit organizations for whom he has driven fundraising campaigns. For his commitment to the arts, culture and Latino advancement he has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors.
Torres has produced, organized and coordinated some of the most successful events and concert series to be presented in New York City and abroad. He created and produced the first MAVI MUSIC CONCERT SERIES featuring the Ray Santos All Star Orchestra?s interpretation of the music of one of this century?s most gifted composer, Tite Curet Alonso, at the Hostos Center for the Arts and Culture.
During the last four consecutive years Torres has worked with Somos El Futuro to develop, coordinate and implement the cultural programming presented during their Annual Hispanic Legislative Conferences held in Albany, NY. In 2004 Torres produced and coordinated a free family oriented summer concert series developed exclusively for Health Plus.
Beyond the NY metropolitan area, Torres created and developed a Latino and Jazz concert series for the Mt. Laurel Center in the Poconos Mountains. In South America, Torres coordinated the historic "Las Estrellas De Siempre" tour to Colombia, under the musical leadership of Johnny Pacheco.
