Keep the Ragtime playing!!

About Me

We are the Scott Joplin International Ragtime Foundation, a not-for-profit corporation. Our mission is to promote an understanding and appreciation of ragtime music and preserve the importance of Joplin's contribution to American music. Each year we host the Scott Joplin Ragtime Festival in Sedalia, MO. The Festival serves to bring an original musical art form to the general public, create an awareness of Sedalia's role in the historic role of ragtime, and pay tribute to Scott Joplin as the "King of Ragtime". I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
