Call me, we'll get drunk

About Me

I'm an out of work guitar player. I once played guitar for the Black Halos, recorded 2 albums (self titled 1999 and The Violent Years 2001) and a few singles, added tracks to countless compilations and toured endlessly before the band called it quits. I resurfaced quickly in The Spitfires. Recorded one live record with them (Live At The Piccadilly Pub from the double CD Illustrious Career 2003) and did some tours and a video then the band called it quits. I then popped up playing some guitar for C.C. Voltage (The Spitfires) and while we didn't release anything we managed to record a handful of songs that may come out one day. I once again resurfaced in the newly reformed Black Halos and recorded one more record (Alive Without Control 2005), went on many more tours before I decided to split amicably from the band. I just finished early in 2007 recording some guitars for C.C. Voltage once again for an upcoming release. I have since moved to Toronto and while I am not playing with anyone yet I hope to have something happening in the near future. Cheers!

My Interests

Music that makes me want to hear it again, books that make me want to pick it up again, old timey cartoons, movies from the 1930's, 1940's, 1950's but I also like some movies from the '60's and onward, old houses with new appliances, sushi, Dr. Suess, drinking beer on patios, playing guitar, laying around parks, old ventriliquist dummies, old timey serials, art deco radios, TV shows from the 1960's, going on tour, getting drunk with Marty and C.C. and becoming "casehead", showers with good water pressure, popcorn with extra butter, being moody, disappearing, my aunt's spaghetti sauce, sleeping late, sleeping in the afternoon - preferably in a hammock, being known as "Jay Millette" and not just "Jay".

I have an actual date that I will be in Toronto.....

I booked my flight for May 29th. I'll be in Toronto on the 30th. When I get my Toronto phone number all set up you'll all hear about it. Well, at least those I want to give my number to.
