Songwriters UNITE!

Songwriters Unite! is a songwriters' collective that has grown to 385 musicians from across North America. Russell Leon is the producer and host of Songwriters Unite! In 2004 he took over a series called The New Foundation from Trevor Mills , who was producing the monthly show (the New Foundation's theme based show out of Hugh's Room). The combined efforts of these two producers/musicians have created a strong community of talented songwriters.Songwriters Unite! promotes emerging and professional musicians by encouraging songwriters to create and perform original music and lyrics. We want our musicians to gain exposure, meet new musicians, entertain, and unite a community of hard working, talented artists. By uniting artists we hope to positively change the worlds' collective consciousness, thus enabling the planet and those living on it to be healthy, happy forever. We also want to encourage good music that inspires us and makes us feel, think, dance and enjoy life.
