Pregnant with new album & due November!

About Me

A music maker, born and raised by the chemical valley of Sarnia, Ontario. Trying to figure out how to make the best use of this life.
My grandma taught me the alphabet when I was a toddler, and since then I’ve been absorbed in words and music. My first song had the lyric, “If you want a rainbow, you must endure the rain”, which isn’t particularly eloquent but it makes sense. I like to travel, learn about the world, and write songs. I write what resonates with me, and really love doing it.
Last year, I made an album of love-focused songs called Falling. I released it independently, under the label Perfume Organ Records. You can download a few of the songs on this page, and if you’re interested in owning a copy, you can buy one on my website . I can sign it or draw a little picture of what I imagine you look like if you want.
Lately I’ve been writing along the general theme of how disconnected we are in this culture. Disconnected from the consequences of our actions, disconnected from nature, disconnected from eachother, disconnected from ourselves. I’m currently recording a new album of these songs, which will be released November 2007.
I’ll be touring in autumn to introduce the new album to people in my neck of the woods. In the next year I am planning on doing a lot of travelling and song sharing. If you’d like me to visit your homeland, or if you’re a musician think we could play a show together, let me know and we’ll make it happen.
If you found this music and it resonates with you, I’m really glad. I’d love to see you at one of the shows.
