The "real" life of José Luis "sarten" Asaresi started in 1966 when he started playing drums on his own at the age of 8. At the age of 11, he started to play around with electronic instruments and became the only dj in his hometown Venado Tuerto, Santa Fe province, in Argentina.At 15, "Sarten" stared to play guitar in a local rock group and also in his father's folk group. A year later, he discovered the electric bass guitar, the charms of the piano and also played drums for various local danse groups.In 1977, he left his hometown for Junin (in Buenos -Aires province) where he took part in a group called "Espectros" as a guitarist, and also as an arranger and programmer for synthesizers.Like all countrymen, he was attracted to the glitter of the capital city of Buenos Aires and moved there in 1982.For 10 years, "Sarten" experiences all sorts of musical endeavors of this metropolitain city. At the same time, he becomes a self taught luthier. He works as a sound engineer in studios, theaters, and for concerts.But this is not all, in 1987 he created with Gustavo Donés and J.L. " Coyote" Damiani the projet Sarten System. Sarten System was awarded first prize in the popular music category with 3 other projects in the biannual " arte joven" in 1989.In 1990 he directed and produced the recording of the first album of SARTEN SYSTEM " Hoy por Hoy". Many musicians were invited to perform with him in his concerts.Afterwards, we would understand why Sarten would want to go to Europe, where he now lives since 1992.His road takes him to Barcelona, Geneva, then to Italy ( "places of deep origines") where he works as a sound engineer in concerts, studios, and where he collaborated in the production of the concert C D of Juan Carlos " Flaco" Biondini. live in Spazio Musica"(1994).
