About Me

I have always been touched by the disappearance of extraordinarily talented individuals, believing that their thoughts, their energy and magic would never end.
In the days following the death of Miles, I began to imagine a meeting of his soul with those of other great musicians from the past, “the classicsâ€, the interaction between different cultures and schools of thought.
Little by little, I began to become more curious about what would have happened in such a heavenly jam session, each one contributing his own input and melody as the others adopted them, and vice-versa, giving birth to a phenomenal exchange of ideas. This thought persecuted me for years, until I began to have the impression of hearing those sounds, those atmospheres, at which point I started to compose what I heard, resulting in my first
concerto for jazz quartet and orchestra, in four movements and Elegia:
“Miles in the Skyâ€.The "Miles Davis Project" is not any more a mere project , but is a reality , performed for the first time thanks to the cultural association " Arts and Sounds " of La Spezia ( Italy ) , which strongly believed in the project and supported it .

Together with the orchestra , not only my actual trio , IIvan Lombardi on bass , Silvano Borzacchiello on drums and myself on piano , but also Hilaria Kramer on trumpet .On 10 , 20th , 2006 a second , brilliant performance in Lugano ( CH ) at
Auditorium Stelio Molo of the Radio , with the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana conducted by Mo. Luca Pfaff and my stable trio with Marco Tamburini on trumpet .
