About Me
"The Pneurotics charged through a delightful set of their engaging rock tunes. The addition of trumpet to their drums-bass-guitar lineup is a nice touch, lending a warm brass tone in all the right places. The band played tighter than I’ve seen them, well, ever. They kicked it off right."
Bryan Reed, Daily Tarheel
"The "fun indie rock" is in the biting guitar tones slipping through distortion, the "hint of twang" in the vocals and the crossroads of the characters. It's often playful and smart, too, like on "The Pedestrian," where Rich slings crispy, distorted lines at guest trumpeter Nate Osborne's brassy tones. The instruments dance around each other like a mongoose and a cobra, each looking to deliver the fatal blow."

Dear visitors:
Each morning, each sunset, the complexities of nature, love of family and friends and all which is the beauty of a life. All of these mix together to form the foundation of my musical expression. As an artist, I do my best to convey these subtle observations of our world into my performances.
I have been refining my understanding of the trumpet for 13 years now, studying music with various renown professional players. Studied music at Greensboro College under the leadership of Benji Springs and Karl Kassner. I have spent much of my career as a classical trumpet player, performing in Wake Forest Wind Ensemble, Youth Symphony, in various musical productions as a pit musician, as well as freelance performance for weddings and other small ensemble groups.
Since my arrival in Raleigh, where I study at North Carolina State University Forestry department, I have begun many new collaborative projects. Here I work with a cast of musical characters from the vibrant Chapel Hill indie rock scene and the Raleigh blues and jazz world. Making my way into this new and artistically open music scene has really allowed me to expand my mind and musical skills.
I hope to see you at an upcoming performance, I consider music to be in the most ideal form, a group experience. Thank you for your support and interest in my music. All the best friends.
