Musaik is a new project born from the Giulio Granati Trio with the collaboration of friends musicians : Stefano Romerio on guitar , Danilo Moccia on trombone and Max Pizio on saxophones , what it means ? : great fun for us and the audience that catch our fun and our friendship .
Tuesday, December 5th, 2006, at the Studio 2 of the "Radio della Svizzera Italiana", we completed the recording of our first CD. We decided to call it simply "Sextet". 3 out of the 7 tracks are part of the Concert nr. 1 for jazz quartet and orchestra "Miles in the sky": Andante, Allegro and Presto, arranged especially for Sextet. The selection also contains: Sextet nr.3, the ballad "Inspired by you", the explosive "Solitune" and one more version of "Reflection".
