About Me
...... I consider myself "a musician" (not only a "classical" ... "electric" guitarist or mandolinist...) so I like listen and study DIFFERENT musical styles, to take away the best qualities from every artist.....
He studied with Angelo Gilardino.
(1994) First prize at the "G.B. Ansaldi" National Guitar Competition in Mondovì (Italy)
(1999) First prize at the "Andres SEGOVIA" International Guitar Competition in Almunecar (Spain)
(2001) First prize and special prize at the "Vincenzo DE BONIS" International Guitar Competition in Cosenza (Italy)
(2002) First prize at the "Ebe Cazzaniga ANSALONE" National Guitar Competition in Abbitegrasso (Italy)
(2002) First prize at the "Michele PITTALUGA" International Guitar Competition in Alessandria (Italy)
(1995) Second prize and special prize (Best interpretation of Tarrega music) at the "Francisco TARREGA" International Guitar Competition in Benicassim (Spain)
He has worked with the great composer and director Mauricio KAGEL (July 2006 - "Mare Nostrum" - Teatro Colon-Buenos Aires). Christian in this project has played guitar, mandolin, lute and cavaquino.

The Spanish newspaper "EL PAIS" considers him "....among the best european guitarist".
In 1990 he started the carrier working in Spain, Portugal, Austria, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Usa, Japan and South America, both a soloist and in chamber ensembles.
Actually he plays in different groups;the Swedish progressive group Isildurs Bane, duo with Ares Tavolazzi and as mandolinist in the Divertimento Ensemble of Milano.
