Growing Something Good in Memphis, TN, USA

About Me

Lantana Projects wants to make Memphis a global leader in the contemporary arts community, and will succeed in our mission by:
** Bringing groundbreaking art from around the world to Memphis
** Providing the opportunity for Memphis to influence artistic creation through our artist residency program
** Celebrating the forward-looking art being created locally
** Encouraging the presentation of art in both traditional and unexpected settings in order to increase its accessibility
** Becoming the nexus for local artists and art supporters
** Enabling our partners to enrich the cultural landscape of our city, and
** Casting Memphis as a city of vitality and creativity, and consequently acting as a magnet for talent.
Lantana Projects is a non-profit international artist residency program (and then some). We offer visual artists the opportunity to live, work, and play in one of America's most internationally renowned cities. Lantana also gives Memphians a chance to interact with these visiting artists - and one another - in a creative and progressive environment.

My Interests

Art. Public art. Private art. Painting. Photography. Video art. Sculpture. Interactive art. Interdisciplinary art. Emerging media and technology art. Installation. And cities that appreciate and nurture it all.

I'd like to meet:

Those who believe in the significance of creative expression, and those who want to make Memphis an even more vibrant city.
