I am Irish, a wife, mom, grandmother, business manager, and a breast and uterine cancer survivor. Trying to finish my degree in Psychology, but will probably be 70 when I graduate (more of an issue about money than time). I keep my close friends close and tell them often what it means to me to have them in my life. I am probably more outspoken than I should be, but I always tell it like it is - shoot straight from the hip. Hate liars. Hate liars. Hate liars. Did I tell you that I hate liars?
I appreciate all my friends on Myspace, including those who own a business, are associated with music, a fan base, etc., who support this site, have offered advice, passed along referrals, and shared stories about themselves and their family. This site is about all of you.

My Interests

Photography, painting, reading, anything creative. I chase sunsets (like snowflakes - no two are the same). Love the sea and anything sea related - lighthouses, beaches, tall ships, etc. Try to take the camera every where I go.

I'd like to meet:

Reba MacEntire. Michael J. Fox. Lily Tomlin. I would like to take God to lunch, if I didn't have to die to do it. I know He's with me always, but you know what I mean. I would like to meet all the artsy-creative people from the sets of Star Wars and Pirates of the Carribean, The Mummy series, the Muppet Show. I would like to have met Humphrey Bogart, John Ritter, Vincent Price, Robert Urich, and Bill Bixby.

Music:

Varies - could be Southern Fried one minute and Mozart the next.

Movies:

Not big on comedies - find most of them stupid with few exceptions, like "Sleepless in Seattle" and "50 First Dates." I stick to mystery and drama and enjoy some children's movies, like "Ice Age" and several others.

Television:

I follow series like - CSI Vegas, Boston Legal, The Closer, Ghost Whiperer, 3lbs, Saved -- sitcoms like Reba, My Wife and Kids.

Books:

Closed door mysteries where I can't figure out the ending by the first chapter. I like Kathy Reich, Sandra Brown, Ed McBain, Patricia Cronwell, Peter Straub and others. Liked "Tommyknockers," "The Stand," and "It" by Stephen King - the books -- not the movies - things get lost in the movie versions.

Heroes:

Reba MacEntire - She's down to earth, classy, a good role model for women. Michael J. Fox - not only for his "clean" movies, but for his public stand on Parkinson's. My heart goes out to everyone fighting a devastating illness.
