Writing, reading, hiking, singing out loud, crochetting and quilting (yes, clearly I'm a boring-old-woman in training), my children, my extremely spoiled dog (Simi) and cat (Pharaoh), anything to do with bats, chocolate, collecting useless trivia, fixing stuff around the house myself and then gloating that I didn't need a man to do it for me...
Oh, and this bat. Didn't I tell you I've got a thing for bats?

The Dalai Lama. Nathan Fillon. Stephen King. Jimmy Carter. Albus Dumbledore. Ricky Martin, so I can slap him for that La Vida Loca song that was stuck in my head for a full frickin YEAR. The Bat Dame. Nora Roberts, so I can steal her mojo. My soulmate. Optimus Prime. Candy and Sarah of the Smart Bitches. Too many others to list.

Godsmack, classical, Dolly Parton, Nine Inch Nails, Breaking Benjamin, Norah Jones, Plow Monday, Paul Simon, all the soundtracks to the Lord of the Rings movies, They Might Be Giants... you know. The usual stuff.
Down Periscope, Chronicles of Riddick, Sabrina (the one with Harrison Ford in it), MST3k, anything from the Discovery Channel--yeah, I'm a geek, wanna make something of it?--any movie with a drool-worthy man in it...
Don't watch television--turned it off in 2002--although we will occasionally watch DVDs. Firefly ones, mostly, with a healthy dose of Stargate SG-1.
Anything from Sherrilyn Kenyon, JR Ward, Gena Showalter, Cat Marsters, Kate Johnson, Terry Pratchett, the Harry Potter books, John's Bathroom Readers, pretty much anything in the science fiction or fantasy section, the backs of cereal boxes... really, I'm an equal opportunity and extremely voracious reader.
I need a hero. I'm holding out for at hero 'till the end of the night. He's gotta be strong, and he's gotta be fast, and he's gotta be fresh from the fight. I need a hero. I’m holding out for a hero 'till the morning light. He’s gotta be sure, and it’s gotta be soon, and he’s gotta be larger than life.
