Help Save The Planet

I'm sure you have heard of the many different charities and relief efforts out there, most of which are concerned with disease and poverty. You probably have seen some commercials for such efforts or heard about your favorite celebrities helping out. Some of you have even donated to help such causes while others watch ineffectively and feel a sense of guilt. As humans, we have a natural instinct to help others, most of whom we do not even know. It upsets us to see others suffering in adverse conditions in which we ourselves have never and will never experience. This is what makes us unique to other species. And this is something so special that we take for granted.We all do everything we can to make our lives and the lives of others better. But what is the point if one day there will not be an earth to live those lives on. Everything we are doing to make future generations have a better life will be senseless, if those generations will not have a place to live. This is what makes this cause different from others. It is an effort to make all other efforts, and the beauty of human social interaction, a possibility of the future.We have caused global warming and the earth is dying because of it. You have probably heard this a million times and tuned it out because you do not like what you are hearing. Just like Al Gore has said before: people do not like to be disturbed with "an inconvenient truth." But you have to ignore your fears, quit denying the truth, and let go of what ever it is that is hindering you because the lives of your children, and your children’s children, and all generations that follow are at stake.Do not let habit overpower your obligations. Time is running out. Please join the efforts to save the earth. You can start by going to climatecrisis.net to find out about global warming and ways to conserve energy to slow the process. You can also go to savetheearth.org and make a donation and/or become an annual member to help in the Save the Earth Foundations efforts to raise public awareness. Join the virtual march at stopglobalwarming.org and and visit greenpeace to voice your concern to congress. One of the most important things you can do is spread the word to your friends and family members... be an example. Thank you for taking the time to read this and learn about this cause.
