Ruchira Kale

A multi-talented vocalist,a darling of connoisseurs and music lovers alike in India and abroad,Ruchira decided to commit herself to music at the tender age of 12.Taking inspiration from her father Sh.Dilip Kale,Ruchira went on to undertake this arduous path when most of her peers were still at school. She has had very sound training in music from some of the renowned&legendary artistes of Indian music likeSmt.Alka Deo Marulkar,Pt.Ulhas Kashalkar& Padma Bhushan Smt.Girija Devi.She has also been associated with the only corporate "Gurukul"of India,ITC Sangeet Research Academy(www.itcsra.org).This passionate commitment to her music has brought forth many accolades for Ruchira in its natural course. She has won many awards for music,noteworthy being,the All India Radio Classical Vocal Competition,1999(National).Ruchira was awarded with the Indian Government’s Scholarship for Young Talents in 2000.Along with that,she has also completed her Master’s Degree in English Literature.Ruchira has performed at many prestigious platforms in India and abroad and has been appreciated and blessed by many Indian greats like Ustad Zakir Hussain,Pt.Jasraj,Pt.Vishwa Mohan Bhatt,Pt.Ajay Chakravarty, Gundecha Bandhus,Pt.Suresh Talwalkar,etc.which in itself is the kind of achievement a young performer looks forward to.
