Hi everybody!! I'm Victor from Barcelona,Spain.Playing guitar for ten years in diferent bands in Barcelona,i started my sitar studies on October 2007.I'm studing under the guidance of tabla maestro Tapan Bhattacharya,disciple of the late Pandit Kaviraj Ashutosh Bhattacharya,the great tabla virtuoso from the benares gharana. Under his guidance i assisted to Workshops with Partha Bose and Pandit Ashok Pathak from the Pathak gharana.Now i'm learning from Susanta Chowdhury, disciple of Padmabushan Pandit Debu Chaudhuri,and if all the things with the visas are ok,i'll be the next three months studing with him(April-June). I want to mention the extraordinari labour Tapan is doing in spain.He is the main responsable figure in the promulgation of Indian Classical Music and Dance in Spain.He is also the director of Tapan Musical Center in Barcelona where i'm studing.For more information visit their website at: http://www.tapangroup.com/.
