About Me

I want you to view this and do all you can to stop Covance from building a lab in Chandler!

I am a 26-year old vegan with a Master's Degree in Science & Technology, for what its worth, which I don't value as much as being active with the Animal Defense League, Food Not Bombs, war resistance, feminist organizations, and Copwatch & EarthFirst! back in AZ...

My Interests

C to the A to the N to the D to the A to the C to the E! Animal liberation, smashing the state, bikes not bombs, you know the drill...like rooting for the Mets!

I'd like to meet:

.. And of course all those that take to the streets to shut down HLS!
I don't discriminate... Just be yourself, confident, and modest! Someone who knows that you don't need to spend money to be happy gets a +. Someone who is a realist gets a -.

Music:

Local, radical acts, for sure! Also down with national acts like Le Tigre, Peaches, Sleater-Kinney, The Muffs, Propagandhi, and Fugazi; extrapolate the list if you'd like.

Here's a start: Gather (I'm gonna miss y'all so much!), Seven Generations, Cipher, Coercion, Can I Say, Resist and Exist, Contravene, Alliaceous, Bodhisattva, Blackfire, This Bike is a Pipe Bomb, Defiance, OH...

Much props to independent record stores that distribute labels like Catalyst, New Eden, Dischord, Kill Rock Stars, Mr. Lady (RIP), Straight On, and Uprising Records.

Best show I have attended was the Gather b'day show for a womyn who just became a Mom!

Movies:

Something about those Adam Sandler movies...but for real independent flicks and documentaries are tops, though I have a soft spot for Office Space & White Men Can't Jump.
Don't watch that, watch this:

Television:

Instead of rotting my brain by watching TV, today in my environmental studies class I had the opportunity to talk to my professor about the London Grill Restaurant . This is a fine dining restaurant in Philadelphia, or so its called. The reality is they buy from Hudson Valley, a farm that is polluting the earth. London Grill shouldn't serve that kind of food to its customers.

After I did a little research on the internet, I found out there were even more places supporting the harming of the planet. Matyson Restaurant has an interesting name, and very interesting items on their lunch and dinner menu. They are also fairly inexpensive. I thought Matyson would be a nice restaurant to eat out with my partner at.

But it turns out that both them and LaCroix Restaurant on Rittenhouse Square are involved in this pollution too! Can you believe it? LaCroix is not very popular, I bet no one who eats there knows the reality about what is going on.

And don't even get me started on Le-Bec Fin Restaurant . My dad told me that this french restaurant has been serving foie gras for quite a long time. Le Bec Fin is such a silly name for an upscale restaurant anyway - I mean, we don't live in France, do we?

Books:

Whatever revolutionary material I can find at the local library or infoshop...Check this out:

Heroes:

My sheroes, heroes, and roes are the revolutionaries who enabled us to have the opportunity to achieve total liberation!

You know who you are...
