About Me

BOOK OVERVIEW - 8 Year Olds With Money - Author: Ric Taylor
The story behind this book, as simplistic as I would like to make it, unfortunately that didn..t happen. Many years of frustration and strive culminated this book. Never giving up, and that is what you will have to do to make it happen. However, now, you have the tool you need. A dream has never been achieved without a plan, and to make a plan you have to have goals. Without goals, you have no where to go. Think about it, if you have goals and don..t hit them, you are still much further along than you would be without goals.
Yes, it is a game sadly enough, but when you..re dealing with people it..s always a game. The best player in the game will win. Be unique and you will be the best player. So, learn to play your own game, and keep in mind, don..t offend.
I chose to write this book after spending 30 years in the industry. I have been an artist, I am a songwriter, publisher, record label executive and even a sound engineer. Everything I learned about this business was from hands on experience and being a good observer. Remember you can learn more from a fool than from the wisest man in the world, if you pay attention.
I remember thinking about the stories I heard of artists, record labels, and the road shows. It had almost intrigued me. It was soon to become non-believable.
All I ever wanted to do was help young amazing talent get the shot they deserved. So, I am sharing all the knowledge I..ve gained with you. Why, because someone needed to tell the truth. Enjoy.
