HOWDY FOLKS!!! I've been playing and singing for as long as I can remember. I guess that's because I come from a very musical family. Whether it was moms old LPs or my dads friends coming over with their guitars until all hours of the night, music has always filled the hallways of our home! To this day, I always pack my guitar when I go home to visit because there's always going to be an opportunity to play.In 1995, I moved to Nashville to work at a small music company with the intent on staying six months. After that, I figured I would go back to Mississippi, or maybe even Texas. I've always liked Texas. Obviously, that plan changed. Then in 1998, I wrote my first song (Trailer Park Trash) as a joke and honestly, I thought it was pretty good. It wasn't much later that I was writing and playing at different venues all over town.
