"PMP Records is the biggest and most widely recognized name, starting and ending with a 'p,' with an 'm' in the middle, in underground music today. Owner Peter Karman and his labelmates have made names for themselves at house parties and international festivals alike. Two Bands, the token funk/metal/polka quartet of the label, have cranked out numerous smash hit, high selling records, including 'Running with the gays', 'Sharting with the gays,' and my favorite: 'Two Bands meets, and fights to the death, joe, peter, glenn, and pat.' Truly an act for anyone, anywhere. Except italians. You have no doubt heard Shrubbery's superb 'music' so much you just want to puke. Himguy, a man all but banned from myspace for emailing cocaine to children, has managed to bring us all a little bit of christmas joy throughout the year. With records like 'There is no man, only Himguy,' and 'Himguy presents: Hard Trance mix vol. 17,' there is rarely a single soul left wanting. Peter himself, a student of both Merzbow (though Akita is perhaps unaware) and J. 'fartgas nipple-twister' Jameson, has bored the underpants off many a Romanian and Frenchy alike; in a good way. Truly, PMP Records, and the acts therein, are not to be missed.
