Miss Blondie has been in the dance scene for some years now, but the djing was always something special and attractive. Her first experiences at friends' bars showed unusual skills that were too obvious not to be noticed.
She was invited in a matter of weeks to develop that talent through Underground Records in Porto, Portugal, and 3 months later Miss Blondie was invited to be a part of the top agency in Portugal - X-Club Dj Agency, where she stayed for 4 years. Her speed light evolution combined with her unique musical style, natural charisma, joy and dynamics in the dj booth seem to be her secret to success.
Miss Blondie makes it imperative to share with the crowd, in every single set, a bit of her, through an immense, positive and rich connection achieved through her personality and different musical influences.
Its true she started out with Soul, Hip-Hop and R’n’B, not that big surprise, if you listen to her, after all, her first musical influences growing up, as little as 10 years-old, were Motown, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Michael Jackson, etc. This led her to be a well known and respected dancer and choreographer in Hip Hop, still in her teens. Nowadays her main work is in House Music with tribal, vocal, soul, electro and funk flows, and recently, with stronger, cleaner and sexier grooves, a style described by Miss Blondie as ‘my deep’.
It was with this wide range musical style and great female intuition to control any dance floor that Miss Blondie started to see her work getting recognition from the best djs worldwide and Portuguese clubs, in which she is now a regular guest dj, such as: Locomia, Pacha de Ofir, Soundplanet, Club W, 02, Via Rapida, Scala, In Loko, Vespas, just to name a few... and in the biggest festivals, such as: the Sunrise Festival with 11,000 people, Ola Love 2 Dance with 18000 and recently, Rock in Rio with more than 100,000 people.
Miss Blondie has shared the dj booth with Djs like Carl Cox, Deep Dish, Steve Lawler, Eric Morillo, Roger Sanchez, John Creamer, X-press 2, Francois Kevorkian, dj Sneak, David Alvarado, mc E-man, Joeski, Silicone Soul, dj Lottie, Rui da Silva, dj Heaven, Andy Morris, Dean Coleman, Gadjo, Little Louie Vega and Todd Terry among many other.
This confessed workaholic dj, dancer and music lover is finally taking to the next level, she produced a remix for 'Portugal Remix' already out, and she will be putting out her first original tracks with Mr M (from subliminal recs) and Mindskap (PT), 2 slamming new tracks already kicking on the dance floors; but of course, already has some other huge tracks on the way with Dj/Producer Thomas Penton (USA), 2 Brothers of Soul (Spain) and 2 new remixes for brazilian singer/song writer Rafael Greyck.
