Currently I'm working on a documentary about the legendary Photographer BERT STERN, The last photographer to shoot 2600 shots of Marilyn Monroe, a shoot that would be published in vogue six weeks later the day of Marilyn's death. I have begun editing, but this film is a process and I am patient to make keep shooting till I have the film that it is supposed to be, a totally original film about a genius, a mentor and his muse, who now follows him around with a camera after being on the other side of his camera for 15 years and generously giving my image, and passion to his lens, now he is giving that to me, we get what we give in creating with mentors and whatever we are willing to give grows like flowers blossoming, only they can't die, they are only reborn. Bert recently completed an exhibition for Musee Maillol in Paris 59 photographs of MARILYN MONROE were shown in isolation from any other photographer who's photographer her. The Museum Director fell in love with the photographs and insisted that Marilyn's by Bert Stern come to his Museum in Paris, and all of Paris fell in love with Marilyn, she was quoted in the New York Times form "Having gone from Legend to Myth." I had the unique opportunity to follow Bert around with a camera, no one has ever done that before and I it is magical what has only begun, The title of this documentary is MAGIC, cause Magic it’s been all the way!!
