Michael Judd grew up in Bountiful Utah, were he discovered his interest and passion for acting. By the age of 23, Michael had a leading role in 'Suddenly Unexpected,' as well as a supporting role in a film at the summer program “The Sundance Film Lab.” Michael also had small roles in “Everwood,” “Day Of Defense.” and the television series “Touched By An Angel. “Additionally, Michael assisted in organizing the most successful acting classes in Utah called ‘The Actors Lounge,’ which was headed by a successful director/writer, Rob Diamond. Michael organized the acting classes at his studio. Many of the actors in the class went on to have very successful and lucrative careers. The Studio was also used for casting for some notable films as well, as well as the "Sundance Film Lab Auditions."Following the decision to pursue a career in film full-time, Michael decided to jump behind the camera and work as a Producer on film staring Danny Glover, Samuel Jackson, Julia Stiles & Angela Bassett called ‘Gospel Hill.’ Michael was also the President of a distribution company "Around The Scenes Releasing." They had offers to sell the company, so Michael moved on to run his own distribution and production company.Michael is now writing three features and is producing them over the next year. He is backed by a strong team of co-producers as well as crew members that he has met over a career span of nine years.MICHAEL JUDD FILMS ("MJF") is a film company dedicated to bringing a wide variety of unique and well-crafted feature films to audiences worldwide. MJF intends to develop both family oriented projects as well as edgier, film festival style fare. Michael Judd Founded MJF in January 2002 for the purpose of developing and producing entertainment media in feature film and television. Upon opening the doors Michael surrounded himself with a management team that brings many years of development and production experience to the table. Focused on smaller budget films, MJF can claim a significant position in the film marketplace that promises low risk and steady revenue. A strong Management team with an outstanding track record and credibility in the industry means that the Company's product will consistently hit its target in the marketplace. MICHAEL JUDD FILMS is funded to invest in multiple film projects. The fund plans to make 3 to 4 investments per year in feature films. The investments will be made into a LLC fund, managed by MJF, which will in turn finance the projects. MICHAEL JUDD FILMS believes that its plan to develop multiple film projects, as opposed to focusing on films on a project-by-project basis, will allow it to diversify its risk and reduce its reliance on any one-film project.
