I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I have a voracious appetite for learning and new experiences and hope that I will continue to learn until the day I leave this place. I love to read, listen to NPR, watch documentaries and surf the internet for new information - all the time! I am very conscientious about environmental issues and try to do my part in being environmentally responsible. I am trying to instill a sense of wonder and responsibility for the environment in my children so that they will hopefully show concern and love for our beautiful world when they are adults.
I would say my favorite things to do are enjoying time with my friends and family, going to see live music, taking photographs, reading and spending time outdoors appreciating the beauty of nature.
If you would like to add me to your list of friends, please send me a message stating why...I'm just curious that way! :)
"Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there - on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam." ~ Carl Sagan
