LUSTFUL

O LUSTFUL foi formado em 1991 por Renato Amarante (G), Richard Drumond (B), Bruno Amarante (D), Freddy De Marco (G) e Rodrigo de Carya (V), em Belo Horizonte /MG. Após vários shows e o lançamento de três demo-tapes (Pray To The Lustful God - 1992; Heaven Burns - 1993; No Sense - 1994), a banda assina com a Cogumelo Records e, em 1995, grava seu debut album: The Almighty Facets. Em 2001 o LUSTFUL faz parte do álbum “Tribute to Sarcófago” com uma versão matadora para o clássico “Nightmare”, lançado pela Cogumelo. Além de Freddy e Rodrigo (ambos da formação original), a atual line up conta com Fernando Fernandes (2005 - G), Josias Rodrigues (2006 - B) e Márcio Siqueira (2007 - D). Sexismo explícito, crua revolta à dominatria religiosa imposta a humanidade e repugnância à ignorância humana são temas constantes nas letras, envoltas no mais puro Death Metal, moldado na eterna escola dos anos 80. Com uma história repleta de fatos marcantes, muitos anos de puro underground e uma ideologia forte e nunca abalada, o LUSTFUL segue cada vez mais forte e promete para breve o lançamento do novo disco.

The band LUSTFUL was formed in 1991, in Belo Horizonte, state capital of Minas Gerais (Brazil). After some gigs and three demo tapes (Pray To The Lustful God - 1992; Heaven Burns - 1993; No Sense - 1994), the band signed with the label Cogumelo Records and released its first album in 1995: “The Almighty Facets”. In 2001, LUSTFUL recorded the classic "Nightmare" to the “Tribute to Sarcófago”. With the band founders Freddy De Marco (G) and Rodrigo de Carya (V), the band has in its cast Fernando Fernades (2005 - G), Josias Rodrigues (2006 - B) and Márcio Siqueira (2007 - D). Some of the themes often found in their lyrics are: deep and explicit sexism, raw revolt to the religious domain forced upon the human kind, and repugnancy to human ignorance. They are wrapped with the purest Death Metal, forged in the eternal 80's school.
