About Me
The band was formed in late 2004 with the intention to enrich the metal scene of Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
Preceptor's sound can be described as a combination of the early nineties death metal with brutal tunes.
Highly influenced by bands such as Benediction, Autopsy, Sinister, Bolt Thrower, Unleashed and Vital Remains, the band is currently working hard to release a promo cd before the end of 2007 and looking forward to opportunities to perform their live concerts.
Currently, all members of the band have experience as musicians in such bands as Vector Underfate, Ruffian, Akerbeltz, Mortthrash and more.
With portuguese lyrics, some of the themes often found in their music are: the atidogmatism, the aversion to the institutions that enslave the human mind, mainly the churches, and the revolt against the corruption that devastates the politics in Brazil.
Expect nothing but pure and utter hateful brazilian death metal.
Banda formada no final de 2004 com a finalidade de enriquecer, ainda mais, o cenário metal de Belo Horizonte.
O Preceptor faz um death metal brutal com influências old-school do inÃcio dos anos 90.
Altamente influenciado por bandas como Benediction, Autopsy, Sinister, Bolt Thrower, Unleashed e Vital Remains, a banda está trabalhando duro para lançar um promo cd antes do fim do ano de 2007 e procurando oportunidades de tocar ao vivo.
Atualmente, todos os membros tiveram experiências como músicos em bandas como Vector Underfate, Ruffian, Akerbeltz, Mortthrash e outras.
Com letras em português, a banda prega o anti-dogmatismo, a aversão a instituições que escravizam a mente humana, principalmente as igrejas, e a revolta contra a corrupção que assola a polÃtica no Brasil.
Não espere nada mais do que o puro e odioso death metal brasileiro.
