Music is embedded in Blessed Love before creation. Blessed Love was held by his mother in the dancehall listening to the likes of Youth Man Promotions, on Robert Crescent Road off Beachwood Avenue, Kingstong 5. He was raised in a yard listening to the bass line beating in his head of Tenor Saw, Junior Reid, Yami Bolo, Barry Brown, Daddy Ants, Linval Thompson and many more. Others may see music as an organized form of instruments and voices, for Blessed Love music is life. Blessed Love got his first taste of being a musician when he used to travel with his uncle, Jah Batta, to Brooklyn, so they can deejay on Ital Int'l, Scorpio Sound and at VG in Queens. Blessed Love's knowledge of music and desire to be an artist expanded while selecting on a sound system he started with his cousins: Lion, Ramma T, Lexus,Enjie and Gangsta T. The musical notes of Nitty Gritty, Hugh Mondell, Garnett Silk, Sizzla and others at his disposal from being a selector, made Blessed Love use his intellect and vocal abilities to be an artist as well as a sound mcee. Blessed Love is about reality not vanity, he makes music as the Lord work, not for hype & show.
