"Reggaematic Vibes" is a carribean music radio program on 90.1FM WUSB (www.wusb.fm) first started in early 1998, by DJ Melody, and Randy.
In 1999, "Stir it Up" featuring Tony Stir went on air on the early morning shift. "Stir it Up" featured the most cutting edge "raggapella remixes" a unique, and exclusive blend of hiphop, and reggae, remixed, and mastered by the legendary Kole of MOS Productions, as well as hardcore Old School (aka Real School) Rap segments, and the newest yardcore dancehall, and culture reggae music.
In late 1999/early 2000, Tony Stir did a few guest fill-ins for RMV (Reggaematic Vibes), and so the two shows merged. Stir decided to keep the original name, and take it to the next levels. Eventually Melody couldn't do the show anymore, but Randy was occasionally able to drop a soca mix, or a fill-in. Around 2003 Smiles (formerly of Reggae24.com) was also added to the show, and as usual he brought his controversial "gossip", and news of the reggae business, which our listeners loved, and could not believe. Look out for the mp3 archives for the new, and old shows to be added soon. Nuff people been a part of the RMV family, our newest members are the King Black Intl. soundsystem, featuring Supa Reem, Shawtee, JusIncredible, Mungo, oh and myself Tony Stir.
Almost 10 years later and thru nuff changes RMV is now on 1st and 4th Saturdays of every month from 9:30pm till 12 midnite.
