Mad Squabbles

About Me

About me huh? Well, I guess I could write some long rambling bullshit about just who I am pretending to be today or what it is that I believe I'm doing with my life. I could use this space to blow smoke up my own ass about how sexy and stunner I am, how cool my car is, or how I can kick your ass blind-folded. I could use it as a soapbox to promote some strange paranoid left wing socio-political agenda, or to solicit sex from random sluts worldwide by harnessing the power of the Internet. But the bottom line is if you’re here, you've probably already had the tremendous privilege of meeting me in person.
However, for those of you cunning little runts who managed to sneak by security through crafty utilization of your superior beauty, wit, or willingness to perform sexual favors, let me offer some advice. As they say, if you don't know, you better ask somebody! And be careful who you listen to, information is valuable but disinformation is vital. So as you enter into "my space" remember this: assumption is the mother of all fuck-ups, and don't believe the hype.
Other than that I live in West Hollywood, I'm from Boulder Colorado, I've lived in New York for five years, Breckenridge for two seasons, and California for a year and a half. I am a pro MMA fighter, an avid snowboarder, a has been skateboarder, a summertime surfer, a security "host" at Area, and I've had way more stitches and surgeries than you have.
I was an English major in college, but I can't spell. I weighed 112 lbs my senior year in high school, but now hit the mid 180's after spending the holidays with my mother's world-class cooking. I've been in love several times but I am not willing to start another long-term relationship until I feel I have become a man worthy of the challenge. I am never satisfied with anything and this is both the secret to my success, and the source of my greatest anguish. I struggle daily to balance being successful with being happy. So far I have found that nothing makes me happier than chasing my dreams, no matter how lofty or unattainable they may seem to be. I train hard, party hard, fall in love far to quickly, and drive fast. For more about me send me a message and I'd be more than happy to get to know you.

My Interests

Here is my latest fight!

Enlightenment, Pain, Chakras, Mixed Martial Arts, Chiropractic, Nose Presses, Head Butts, Zone Healing, Writing, Acupuncture, The Government Surveillance of Peace Activists, The Female Orgasm, Ninjas, Homeopathy, half-cab nollie heels, Soul Searchers, Oriental Medicine, Quantum Physics, Oxygen Debt, Powder Turns, and The Rubber Guard.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who is a fan of Mixed Martial Arts.
Anyone who refuses to believe that they are destined for anything less than greatness.
Anyone who laughs in the face of failure, mediocrity, and convention.
Anyone who embraces adversity, struggle, and hardship seeing them as the hammer, anvil, and flame with which the warrior’s will is tempered.

Music:

Erwann vs. Conor Heun

Movies:

The Secret, What The Bleep Do We Know, I Heart Huckabees, The Departed, Rocky, Waiting, Donnie Darko, Boondock Saints, Fight Club, Primal Fear, The Graduate, Garden State, Kiss of the Dragon, Sooper Troopers, Ninja Scroll, Run Lola Run, A Bronx Tale, Big Fish, the first half of Belly before DMX turns into a whinny little bitch, City of God, Old School, The Matrix, The Big Lebowski, Cinderella Man, Match Point, The Notebook, Friday Night Lights, Vision Quest, Dazed and Confused, Talledega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Invincible, The Protector, Hero, and anything with topless school girls.

Television:

If, as Marx believed, "religion is the opiate of the masses" then television is our hallucinogen, causing us to believe in things we have seen only through its distorted lens. I shut off my cable and it was the best thing I ever did. Go read a book.

Books:

The Alchemist, Rays of the Dawn, Mastering The Rubber Guard, Wit, The Tipping Point, The Bible, Penthouse Forum, The Doors of Perception, Jiu-Jitsu Unleashed, The Celestine Prophecy, Buddism for Dummies, The Tao Of Jeet Kune Do, The Power of One, The 157 lb Marriage, The World According to Garp, Of Mice and Men, Aesop's Fables, The Art of War, etc.

Heroes:

My Mother and Father, Dan Gable, Tyler Durden and anyone who has the courage to strive for perfection, who has faced failure, who has gotten back on the horse, who has crashed and burned only to rise from the ashes reborn. Anyone whose face has been marred with the blood and sweat and tears of struggle; anyone who has stepped into the circle, the cage, the ring, or onto the battlefield, the starting line, or the gridiron; facing their fears and their foes head on; with virtue, character, respect, honor, and valor. Anyone who has sacrificed, put others before themselves, or worked to make the world a better place. These are my heroes.
