Northern New York to Northern California, Dog Dix is a new breed of Musical Acts. They are a three piece (after the untimely demise of Carantula), Trash Rock Combo who are even more twisted then the darkest death metal music. Their Influence comes from everything from simple pop to disturbing noise rock. After releasing their critically acclaimed cd, Humpin’ and Pumpin’ they tried to tour and had several dates booked but then came the death of their asian female drummer Carantula who would according to rumors enjoy the sexual gratification of both the bassist Cousin Creepy and lead singer/ guitarist Erik Erik during their musical performances. She was soon replaced by Legendary French Drum Programer, Vavixian who is depicted on the new cover of their up coming second release. With a complete line up Dog Dix is ready to take over the underworld.Completely clad in black trash bags, Cousin Creepy and Erik Erik, take the stage. Cousin Creepy is too almost too drunk to stand, moving around like a zombie on crack. Erik Erik is screaming at the top of his lungs kicking things over and pushing the shopping cart containing the speakers and keyboards into punters standing in the crowd. They proceed to cause quite a scene even before they begin playing. Then Vavixian takes the stage and the music begins. Chaos erupts to the sounds of opening Dog Dix theme song “Dog Dix, Dog Dix for Chix†Erik Erik screams. The rest is soon to be musical history taking off where the legendary bands left off you know the ones I mean, the alarming disturbing bands of days past.So hide your children from the gypsys and Dog Dix cause they will find a place for them if you can’t.Cousin Creepy Dog Dix Bassist, just barely escaping from outstanding arrest warrants in Philadelphia, makes his way to California to find refuge from the law. Its just another reckless day in the life of a dangerous criminal. Careful or he will creep his way into your house and beat you to death with a tube sock filled with broken glass. Spending every waking hour calling you up on the phone and yelling “Monkey rapeer! Monkey rapeer!†he manages to play bass just long enough to annoy every person who has come to see the band play. He will through his efforts most defiantly reserve his warm seat in hell.Erik Erik lead singer and guitarist of Dog Dix is the main stay behind the band, keeping it together through the thick and thin. Even though rumors surfaced about him being the primary reason for Carantula’s death he managed to escape the charges without a scratch. It was probably mainly due to the fact that Carantula had an overwhelming Heroin Addiction. Suicide and Assisted Suicide are almost identical in the cloudy eyes of the law. Erik Erik born many moons ago has vowed to infest the boring earth with stupid, angry music that you will be unable to remove from the ringing of your ears. Let Trash Rock!Last but not Least, Vavixian the French drum programmer has joined the evil group to add to the insanity. A long time resident of California’s Underground, she happened into the band digging through trash at a nearby swap meet. Once Creepy and Erik Erik disposed of Carantula’s corpse the spot was ready to be filled. Distorted Percussion in the same vein as Yanna Trance, Dog Dix was once again Complete.
