The SWEETWATER Jazz Band, directed by Michael Supnick -
showman, vocalist, and multi instrumentalist. The band is dedicated to Louis
Armstrong, inspired by the small groups of New Orleans. The "street parade" were
used for public cellebrations like Mardì Gras, for publicity or for elections,
for the arrival or departure of a riverboat, or for the opening of a new club or
bar.
Since 1997 the Sweetwater is one of the most active New Orleans style bands in
Italy.
