Brianne Widaman ("Brie") is a woman on a mission: To use her art and talents as a means of influence in the world. As an artist, Brianne strives to create the kind of work that makes people stop, think, and feel at a deeper level, finding inspiration in everyday life, global issues, and the struggles and triumphs of others. As a businesswoman, she is intrepid and innovative.
Brianne's competitive and passionate nature enables her not only to dream, but also to achieve. She has been singing and performing onstage for over 18 years as a solo artist as well as a member of various theater groups, dance teams, and music ensembles.
Other artistic components of her life have been writing and photography. Brianne has been writing poetry, screenplays, and short stories for over 12 years, and writing original music for over 8. In 2003, her photography was featured in the Los Angeles County Fair Art Exhibit, and was more recently used in a project for the graduating class of 2006 at Berklee College of Music.
As a graduate of the prestigious Webb Schools in Claremont, CA, and a former student of Broadcast Journalism/Political Science/International Relations at Chapman University, Brianne's appetite for learning has undoubtedly contributed to her globally conscious mind and persona, though having traveled to over 16 countries probably has something to do with that as well.
Brianne Widaman served as Co-Director of Heavy Rotation Records, Berklee College of Music's record label, and was Head of Project Development and Marketing for the non-profit group Give Us Your Poor (GUYP) in Boston. She still works with GUYP as well as various other organizations around the country.
After graduating from Boston's Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Business/Management, Brianne moved to Nashville, TN where she worked on Music Row as Project Manager and Production Coordinator at Oh Boy Records and Al Bunetta Management. Working closely with Al Bunetta and John Prine, she took on a variety of responsibilities from booking tour dates and coordinating photo shoots, to directing the designing of album artwork for such artists as Todd Snider and John Prine.
Brianne is now moving into a new chapter in her life and career. She intends to thrive as both an artist and a venerable businesswoman, using her vision and determination to imagine a dream and execute it successfully.
