About Me

I take a philosophical but open minded approach towards things and have a dedicated yoga practice that makes everyday an interesting experience for me. It's a shame not more people are into it as it's NOT at all hippy dippy.. you can really tap into an emotional vein that many are not aware of. I simply enjoy the "rush/calmness" I get during my practice... Can't really explain it better! One BIG thing about me is that I LOVE music. It has been a great influence on me since a kid. First concert..ready for this??? ALICE COOPER when I was 14 yrs. old.... I loved this guy dressed in leather & makeup w/ a snake. And as the son of a preacher, being that I had a religious school upbringing..well, I thought he can't be all that bad! I think the visual aspect as well as the music of bands was impressionable enough to where I became influenced in the arts which led me to become a photographer. As I wasn't a musician but loved what went into these bands.. I thought why don't I do the next best thing to being there and photograph it! So that's what I'm doing.

My Interests

Achieving a PERFECT BALANCE by exploring the elements of body, mind and soul awareness through yoga & pranayama, magick arts and FIRE! 1960's sports cars: The DREAM car a mid 60's Corvette Coupe (blk.,red or white) The energy of these colours: Red/Black, Purple/Gold, Bronze/Burgundy, and white for purifying.Photographing some of the most interesting people I have ever met! You all know who you are.... :) And lastly.... extraordinary bands! read my music influences

I'd like to meet:

It's a LONG shot but in reality.... just honest people who are open minded. I like wittiness, creativity, and spiritual beings (whatever that means to you..you can be a pagan to buddhist, fetishist, to a yogi who levitates! It's all pretty eclectic and just curious to see if there's anyone who has a similar outlook.
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!

Music:

Most of everything from Bowie, old school British Punk The Clash, gothic/industrial to Concrete Blonde, Dead Can Dance to Tibetian Chanting, dub, ambient soul stirring vocalists (too many to think of) as Lisa Gerrard & Brendan Perry (DCD), Skin (Skunk Anansie), Johnette Napolitano, PJ Harvey, Jimmy Gnecco (OURS), and any other vocalists that moves me

Movies:

Old b/w films horror, suspense, psychological. - Hitchcock!! Dark comedies, some foreign films, and RockumentariesI very rarely check out movies so it really has to be inspiring enough for me to see a film.

Television:

Don't EVEN go near it...

Books:

Anything philosophical, non-religious, spiritual-oriented (pagan, chakras, meditation, etc.) Music - "england's dreaming" I've always been a book surfer.. reading enough until I feel I've been educated. it could be 1 chapter or the entire book.. I take what I want to get from books

Heroes:

The most inspiring ones have past away... from Gandhi to ML King - educating the masses of non-violence only to die by violenceMusic Heroes; Joe Strummer... he raised his voice on everything from racism to poverty, AIDS, working class heroes, and much more. When he died the music world lost a very special individual....you are missed. And anyone who rises from adversity to become a stronger individual....with courage & strength!
