About Me

Everyone has something unique to contribute to this life, this Divine Play. I believe that my offering is to bring people together through song, stories and dance.

You do not need to leave your room.
Remain sitting at your table and listen.
Do not even listen, simply wait, be quiet, still and solitary.
The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked,
It has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.
- Franz Kafka

To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.
-William Blake

OM NAMAH SHIVAYA

God has no religion.
-Mahatma Gandhi

Knock on the sky and listen to the sound.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

A ghost. More actors, artists, musicians. Practical jokers. Spiritual seekers. Dancers, lovers of the earth.

Here is a video of a Portland Flash Mob that I participated in recently. Two hundred people randomly froze in place for five minutes outside of Powell's books one Saturday afternoon. When five minutes was up, everyone merely walked away as if nothing had happened. Watch closely and you'll see me, my son and my friends!

My Blog

Janea, Janea, Janea!

I used to say that if you learned to pronounce my name right, (Jay-nuh), I'd be the only Janea you'd ever know. No longer. I have a new friend Jana (pronounced the same). She's beautiful and spiritual...
