Organ

Love with ardency and vehemence.

About Me

Pistons, pipes, tonewheels, leslies, cisterns, and dsp still make that full-bodied OBERWERK I'm known for... I like churches and baseball games and movie theaters and have been known to frequent all three simultaneously. I'm good friends with reverb from back in the day.

My Interests

I love stops (and starts), all things analogous and niches, nooks and lofts. I love people with long fingers and a gentle toes.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet people who are affected by me, people who truly feel what it is I have to offer. I love people both organic and organized, innocent and experienced. I just want to know that I'm singing to listening ears. I'm not a background instrument, you know.

Music:

A long long list. Aulos singing songs of love lost and onions green, mostly.

Movies:

Phantom.

Books:

Four organs: being the history of the organs in the Churches of Holy Trinity and St. Peter, Hersham, Surrey by John Michael Emmerson and King of Instruments: A History of the Organ by Bernard Sonnaillon

My Blog

Tell Me

Do, please. Tell me about your favorite experience with an organ. Was it pipes or tonewheel? Wurlitzer or Hammond or Farfisa. What does my rich, full-bodied sound bring out in YOU? Best, Organ
