Very Successful, Totally Insane.

About Me

Hello there former friend, casual acquiantance, colleague, ex-girlfriend, potential mate or employer, or complete stranger. How have you been? Thanks for looking me up.
I probably haven't spoken to you in years and this is really the least awkward way to resume contact. Have you moved? I live in Manhattan. What do you do? Did you stick with what you were into when i knew you?
I got swept up in comedy and eventually that turned into pursuing acting and writing for television, in which I've had some success. In my spare time, which i have a lot of, i volunteer helping old people, do Shambala meditation, drink, do karaoke, read wikipedia, and try to be a superhero.
I've been performing at "The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater" since 2001. In that time I've at least 40 different unique sketch and improv shows at the UCB, including long running shows such as an 18th month of REAL REAL WORLD (a satire of MTV's The Real World), ANYDAYVILLE (improvised tv pilots), and LIQUID COURAGE (hard to explain). I am a founding member offensively named improv groups SH!T-STORM and UCB Harold Team MONKEYDICK, a house team for four years.. I also created some shows - impov jam THE MOSH at The PIT, the 70's cop show parody LOOSE CANNONS and the Star Trek homage "SPACESHIP FANTASTICA."
In November 2004 I co-wrote and starred in the nine month run of "BUY BEG BORROW OR STEAL: THE 'DARK SIDE OF THE MOON' SHOW", a sketch comedy show that synced up perfectly with Pink Floyd's classic album. It was a TimeOut NY Critics Pick, Gothamist.com Pick, Flavorpill Pick and L Magazine Reccomended.
IAfter that I co-wrote and starred in "ROSS MEETS THE WIZARD", also a TimeOut NY Critics Pick. Here is the intro video:
You can watch also watch an entire live performance of ROSS MEETS THE WIZARD, as performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater NY:
ROSS MEETS THE WIZARD and DARKSIDE were both written with my frequent writing partner, Eric Appel. All this goofing around lead to some real acting work. My TV credits: "AS THE WORLD TURNS", "GUIDING LIGHT", "JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE", "2006 SPIKE TV VIDEO GAME AWARDS" and a bunch of appearances on "LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O'BRIEN".In November 2005 I had a leading role in "A/V CLUB", a pilot from creators of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee."In December 2005 I was hired as a contributing writer for "THE ANDY MILONAKIS SHOW" Season 2 on MTV.
In fall of 2006 I booked several commercials for Nabisco, SpikeTV, and T-Mobile. The T-Mobile commercial is called "Busted" featuring the song "Secret Lovers." Here it is:Also recently i did a series of promos for the SpikeTV's Video Game awards, and appear the show. Here is my favorite one:
In Summer 2007 my writing partner Sean Clements and I formed "Coyote Handsome", our sketch comedy and tv production duo. Our debut project was "Pitch Men: Season 1 Preview."
Pitch Men - "All AJ and Travis ever wanted were to be Hollywood big shots. But there's a problem: they don't have talent, they don't have money, and they don't have any idea what they're doing. But they do have a dream. After many many failed projects they've finally gotten their big break - they're going to make a movie out of one the bestselling books of all time: The Dictionary."
Here it is:
Don't feel weird sending me a message. I'd probably love to hear from you, stranger or friend. If i do know you doubt I bear you ill will or blame you for us losing touch, even it was under unpleasent circumstances. Don't feel bad if i don't write back - I'm kinda bad with stuff like that, and am still somewhat antisocial.
