I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Builder, Opptimist, Kind, Rightbrained, Athletic, and with an insatialble curiosity about everything. Just imagine, it only takes 100 people thinking postive thoughts to change a city of several million, in the entire world, only 8000. If for one day, we could concentrate on peace, 8000 of us together, what a different world we would have. 'I'M NOT A SCARF, YOU CAN'T JUST THROW ME ROUND YOUR NECK...AND HOPE...' I'd like to meet:

I'm not a starstruck kind of person. I just want to meet people who are kind and trying to make a difference in what ever way that they see as possible. If you don't try to manifest change in our world, change will never come about. PUT YOUR I'D LIKE TO MEET SECTION HERE! Music:

I..'m wide open when it comes to music. Every time and generation has it..'s own relevence. Right now, on my IPod I have everything from Gospel, Bluegrass, Abba, and Patti Smith to old Elvis songs that I used to listen to with my Grandpa Jenkins. Vic Chestnutt is another favorite.

Movies:

By far, the best movie ever has to be Sling Blade. I grew up in the Southeast US, and strongly identify with many of the characters. The last movie that I saw was Sicko. If you haven't seen it, do so now. Michael Moore is once again brilliant (I know everyone doesn't share my view), but see it anyway. Whatever doesn't kill you can only make you stronger.I just revisited Brokeback Mountain on DVD this week, and had forgotten what a beautiful and powerful story that is. I was reminded of Mathew Sheppard and the intolorence that can exist.

Television:

Telly is mostly a wasteland, but I do love Little Britain, and BBC..'s Monday night mysteries. Wire in the Blood and The Eleventh Hour are great, as was Life on Mars. Other than that, I watch anything and everything that has to do with design or building. I will admit to a great love of Changning Rooms, and What Not to Wear... Think what you will...

Books:

Haven't had a chance to do much reading lately, but my top favorites are still Ask and it is Given, Peace is the Way, One Hundred Years of Solitude and all William Faulkner. To Kill a Mockingbird also makes my top 10 list.

Heroes:

Buddha, Jesus, Van Gogh, my mom and grandpa,my sister Jen, and my cousin Wil for his awesome blogs and always speaking his mind. Give them a read! Anyone who is kind
