About Me

I was born October 22 1949 in Strasbourg, Alsace. I am a French football manager, and I am currently managing Arsenal, where I have become the club's most successful manager, in terms of trophies, and the longest-running manager, in terms of matches played (over 550, as of September 2006).I am the only foreign manager to win the Double in England, having done so twice, in 1998 and 2002. I am also the only manager to go through the entire FA Premier League season without a loss in 2004. I am fluent in French, German (especially its Alsacian dialect) and English and knowledgeable in Italian, Spanish and Japanese. I am interested in all kinds of politics, but I prefer to spend most of my time in the game.

I like to meet all kinds of people, especially you arsenal fans. Im generally a quiet guy, who likes to keep myself to myself.

Music:

I enjoy listening to Clasical music.

Movies:

I dont really have the time to watch films, but anything football related is good.

Television:

The only television that I watch is football highlights or replays. We also use the television when watching tapes of our opposition.

Books:

I like reading any books relating to Arsenal and football.

Heroes:

I am a great fan of Pele.
