This page is a 100% unofficial site to promote the new AC Milan star - Mathieu Flamini! This is a fan site so feel free to leave your messages of support for Mathieu. This site was originally created a few years ago when Mathieu was at Arsenal and now he has become a superstar! His 07-8 season was magnificent and he was a regular starter in the Premiership. His partnership with Fabregas was one of the best in the world and how we can forget the Magical 4 as I like to call them or their affectionate term "Spice Boys" - Flamini, Fabregas, Hleb & Rosicky..Mathieu has shown the footballing world his amazing talent and infact it was his outstanding display in the Champions League against his new club AC Milan that saw him receive many potential offers to new clubs. AC Milan stole his heart as he had always wanted to play in Italy and with him being half Italian (his father is from Italy) - a heart breaking decision was made by Mathieu to leave his home and loyal fans back in London and to make a new start in Italy for 2008-09...Mathieu first joined Arsenal FC in July 2004 - originally from Marseille. Wearing the number 16 shirt and playing in midfield, he has been a integral part of the team. His non stop energy and passion for his club is obvious to see to all the fans. Stepping in last year in the difficult left back position - Mathieu showed his talent against the likes of David Beckham in the Champions League and proved very successful in defence.During the 06-07 season, Flamini has been in fine form as he has been back to his preferred midrole position. Scoring some superb and vital goals against Dianomo Zagreb to score a Champions League goal winner, Liverpool in a 3-0 win, goal against Champions Chelsea in the Premiership and against Blackburn. There was further positive news when he earned a call up for the International - France v Argentina in February! It was his debut call up for France and he was a substitute in the match and gained great experience from being alongside his fellow compatriots. This can only do wonders for his confidence and improve his game whilst learning alongside the greats (those at Arsenal too of course!)
