About Me

the magic spoon was born and raised in columbus ohio, and moved to central florida in 2000 where his musical interests were revolutionized by the funky breaks. in 2002 he began producing breakbeat music. he had to leave florida for medical reasons, and on his return to columbus he embraced other kinds of dance music such as progressive house and detroit techno. he decided to give up funky breaks for the newer nu skool sounds coming out of the uk and australia. since then he has developed into a fine producer and dj. djing trip hop since 1998 the florida club scene tought him how to properly rock a crowd. his columbus friends tought him the deeper sounds of edm, and how to develop a set into a journey of mind and body.
