About Me

I am passionate about life, and approach everything I do with great intensity. I am also a Flamenco dancer, and have always wanted to be, as far as I can ever remember, but it's the personal inner connection to Flamenco that is a power and inspiration in my life. The music and the song is so much a part of my daily existance now, that I can't imagine life without it.
Dancing is just something that I love to do, and never got around to actually training till after my kids were grown. I dance alone for myself...but I also thrive from the experience of performance, and I cherish the privilege of being a part of an active Flamenco community. I try live my days so that there will be no regrets,and attempt to live every moment fully . I try to keep my heart open ...and make choices that are full of joy....not based on my fears. Like anyone who tries..I am partially successful.
I am fascinated with people, and how different we all are. I love and enjoy my friends as if they were my extended family. I enjoy spending time with people of all ages.
I am absolutely obsessed with the different ways that human beings interact with the world around them. How we all manage each moment. I am always trying to learn more about how our brains work, multidimensional thinking, and the experiential process.
I believe passionately that our educational systems are misguided in its approach to learning....and people survive rather than thrive because of this.
I support my own family who mean everything to me, and have been in partnership with my husband of 30 years in a business called Edie Hats (www.ediehats.com) which I started one day because I was working in theatre and film, and thought I'd have more time to start a family if I had my own business. I was partially right. Business turned out to be just another of my children.
I love being alive, and never forget that it is a miracle of some sort that we exist. I made a myspace because it is an an extraordinary way to communicate worldwide. myspace fascinates me as an example of the changing ways of our world. It's like a multi dymentional brain thought process... (read a book called "The Mind's Eye")

I'd like to meet:

I meet so many new people every day, and enjoy them so much.....I am not left wishing to meet anybody. I'm here to share my experiences, and perhaps connect people to each other through my own interests (for I am a communicator by nature) and by doing that, also tell people about my business which is how I support my family and my employees.

Music:

Flamenco, classical, opera, jazz, blues, gospel, world, South American, fusion/everything...

Movies:

Beautiful ,Visually rich, romantic arty films mostly..French...Italian, Australian, Spanish.. Like Amalie..or anything with Gerrard Depardue..The Governess...Like Water For Chocolate...you get the picture...
I find it hard to watch violence so I don't - close my eyes. The screen looks very real to me.

Television:

I don't watch television. I am always doing something else.

Books:

Any book that feeds my interest..or I think someone else might be interested in. I surround myself with books...and absorb them kinistheticaly even more than read them , as i am a visual thinker and conventional reading is difficult for me.
My mother worshiped books, so I like having them everywhere.

July 14.. midnight Italian time...Again for Ja, one more day with all the up and downs of the journey. Ja has past the day ok. Craig bring some barbecue food and Ja really enjoy.
