About Me

"I'm following my heart on a journey to explore the art of acting and to work with people who want to tell stories that are both relevant and entertaining. I want to give the audience something to be inspired by and to leave them with a sense of hope.” Mare CostelloI opened a fortune cookie on New Years Eve of 2007 and it read "You are headed in the right direction. Trust your instincts." I was on my way to Hollywood when I got that.I made a decision to change careers 3 years ago to pursue acting and here I am a leading lady because I listened to my heart that was shouting. Please enjoy my pics & the blogs that chronicle this journey into a dream being fulfilled. The best is yet to come. 008+mare=more opportunities.I am currently training in the Kung Fu Art of Wing Chun at the LA Wing Chun school. I am also a 4th Level improv gal at the Improv Olympic. I am working on several projects with many new friends here in L.A. and the folks back in the 'D' which include: promoting my Kung Fu comedy/musical/action/drama short called "Fu Cents"(see my top friends for the profile), I have just finished doing some voice over for an animated series entitled "Transporters TR1", I am working on my first screenplay, the short that I play Beth in called "Blind to Grace" will be premiered in May and I look forward to coming back to MI to shoot "Cyber Hunt" with Jerry Seward this Summer.
