Contact TablesIn the very beginning, there were two boys, called Arne and Brecht, who played some music together. Arne on the guitar and Brecht on the keyboard. Meanwhile, two stepbrothers began playing an instrument too, Gilles on the bass, and matti the guitar. Since they both knew Brecht, they decided to jam in Arne's shed in the backyard. Result: a couple covers and plenty of gay afternoons. They enjoyed themselves, and called themselves 'the capibara experience' named after a very cool animal. They rehearsed more and more, but Arne's education got in the way, so he decided to leave the band. Mattias, Gilles and Brecht kept on playing, but something very basic was missing: a drum (and drummer). And as a completion of their lack of musical experience they scouted for the best drummer in Ghent: Antoon popped up. He accepted the proposal, and they started jamming in Antoon's room. Most of the time Laurens played with them, on his favorite instrument: the saxophone. Vocals were still missing so Isis joyned the band. Not long after that, the first gig followed, but, unfortunately for the audience, they had to cope with some difficulties: Brecht couldn't make it and Isis was ill. The gig sucked *ss, so Laurens left the band, and also because he wanted to be an "independant musician". The rest of the happy lot kept rehearsing and they got better. A few small (but very succesfull) gigs followed. The 5 friends wanted to add an extra dmension to their music and that's when Phoebe and Katrien joined in, playing the violin. Hélas, Isis decided to take a step back. The search for another great singer began. Antoon heard of a myth, telling about a girl named Kathleen who had an angelic voice, so for now, she joined Moodwalkin'...to be continued...
