About Me

1 tomàn = 10 rials and for 8 rials you buy cigarettes in Iran.
'Perhaps we should have smoked the salmon first' was recorded at de studio by dirk miers who also plays trumpet on the album. it was mixed by wouter at home. the most part of the songs were tried out live before being recorded. 7 days (with long nights) appeared to yield enough material to start mixing.
chicago based indie label graveface records home of bands like daturah, dreamend and the appleseed cast, was moved by the album in this way that they decided to release the album in the US of A.
You can also buy our album on iTunes , of course you're missing some great artwork then...
tomàn played nice support acts for Death Cab for Cutie, The Album Leaf, Logh, South San Gabriel, 65 Days Of Static, Mogwai, Karate, Windsor for the Derby, 16 Horsepower, Shearwater, Subtle, the Twinemen, The New Year,... and playing nice festivals like Pukkelpop, Dour festival, Boomtown, Feeërieën, Rhâââlovely in Cortil-Wodon, DIY or die? festival. After some smaller Dutch tours, a first real european tour in feb/march 2007 together with the crazy pals of Madensuyu was unbelievably fun...
