I apologize to anyone and everyone who has been caused
pain, grief, or agony over the article in Westword entitled
"Mike Colin RIP."
Regardless of the circumstances, or the actions of others,
in the end, all the blame lay squarely on my shoulders.
Because in the end we each have to own our destiny,
not allowing others to take it away.
I do have one more thing to add re: Westword.
Although I do not fault Michael Roberts or Dave Herrera,
the fact remains that Westword was offered 2 stories,
and they CHOSE to run with Mike Colin RIP (as opposed to a review of Eclecticore A/Z), without much substantiation.
In fact, I find it a little unnerving that the bullshit story I gave them
in person was less believable than the story given to them by
Paul Holmes, which was 100% bullshit.
