All in all our goal is to build a cohesive show. The "genres" listed are a guideline, not a rule.
MIXED = Open to different genres.
METAL = Hard Rock / Heavy Metal & all around heavier music including (Hardcore / Thrash / Punk Rock / Industrial / Grind Core & more)
ALTERNATIVE = Rock / Alternative Rock / Indie Rock with genres of somewhat similar sounds including (Pop Rock / Folk Rock / Jam Bands /Garage Rock / Grunge / Funk / Reggae & more!)
ACOUSTIC = Bands & Solo Acoustic Performers
1st Round Shows @
Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom & Quixotes True Blue (2637 Welton St. Denver) Tickets are good for both venues!! All Ages with a 21+ bar In & Outs are OK
* Dates for other states are TBA.
* Entry fee is committing to put on a stellar performance and work hard for the success of everyone involved in the show including your group. Payouts are flexible. Pay varies on a per band basis. All submissions and offers can be sent directly to [email protected] Tickets are also sold through Tickets West and King Soopers.
* Up to 10 bands will play each 1st round show or possibly more.
* We will select up to 8 bands per 1st Round show to advance to the Semi Finals or possibly more.... "We" means a various panel of judges, audience guest MC's and entertainers.
* Bands picked by Progressive Motion will be chosen based on overall performance, stage presence & hard work.
* Sets are up to 45 minutes depending on how many bands are performing and ....
* All bands use your / their own gear or may share gear with other performing bands.
* Time slots are decided 4-5 days in advance and based on creating a cohesive show.
* Select bands will be chosen to play out of state.

SEMI FINALS
* Colorado Semi Finals take place on July 13th, 20th & 27th
THIS IS THE PARTY! We are working to bring in 500 people per show ...
* Dates for other states are TBA.
* Advancing bands will be chosen to play the big show.
* We are releasing 2 NEW compilations. 1,000 CD’s will be distributed to multiple record labels & radio stations and also given away at shows for promotion in CO, CA, TX, NM, AZ & WY. Select bands will be chosen to be on the Compilation CD/Party mix tape.

THE FINALS
August 30th & 31st in Denver, CO
$10,000 cash and prizes will be distributed to all performing bands.
* For The Finals the winner is everyone. Progressive Motion Presents will distribute $10,000 cash and prizes based on a combination of hard work & performance.
* Timeslots will be decided through a lottery for The Finals.
