The Vergers

VERGE ON

About Me

The Vergers were formed on July 14, 2007 in a dusty, pebble ridden garage on the outskirts of old Englewood. Old ghosts from the past haunted the early recordings of this band. Hot brick, dark shadows, and eerie guitar echoes in the settling dust. The line up at the time was Trip, Brad, Dave and Gary and a drum machine. After an exhaustive search the Vergers finally found a drummer named Tony. Tony was in the band for several months until a freak equipment unloading accident decapitated him. On moon light nights, people say they hear drumming late in the evenings at the old abandoned garage. A headless apparition is supposedly haunting the decrepit gangways and the Vergers have not returned in fear of opening a portal to hell.
A few months later the Vergers have signed on Ari as their new drummer and so far OK! With moods shifting from dark, to lysergic, to hopeful, The Vergers create an atmosphere of beauty, velocity, angst, and affection.
The Vergers are modestly yet methodically gaining recognition for their unique sound. Poised to make huge strides in 2008, The Vergers will get your attention.
--"No [other band] in Denver is doing what The Vergers are doing right now."
--"You will be shocked at how good The Vergers sound."

New Update:
We have been in the process of recording several tracks of new music at Laskin Production studios. Our current myspace tracks were recorded on 2 microphones on a ceiling, so our production quality should be top notch. Hopefully we will have some songs up on myspace in a week or so, to be heard on the airwaves, and downloadable. Stay tuned for more information coming your way soon.
