Life’s Decay is a French project, based in Paris. It was born at the beginning of 2003. Lyktwasst is the author.
Since its creation, four main albums were born : a CD named "Art Decay Extremism" in 2004, the album " Anleva " in 2005, "Lysselia" in 2006 and "Szilentia", the new available album since September, 2007.
Until 2005, Lyktwasst was alone in the center of the project, realizing everything, from the concept to the accomplishment. Since, he is now working with Alea, feminine singer and lyric writer. She is also beginning to work on the music with Lyktwasst by introducing classical acoustic instruments.
Life Decay has the will to create a personal universe, musically and visually, influenced by eclectic universes : neo-classical, dark martial industrial, experimental pop...
A big musical evolution occurred between the first album "Art Decay Extremism" and "Szilentia". Lyktwasst and Alea unites their passion of the music and innovation to offer different albums from one to another, invested and anchored in their own universe.
The graphics has a huge importance in the project. Lyktwasst creates artworks made of only full black and white which establish a " retro - luxury " universe. Music and visuals are completely connected. He also realizes all the photos, music videos, web sites etc....
Lyktwasst created the label " Abstraktsens Produktions " in 2004 to assure the production, the promotion and the distribution of Life Decay. All the CD and the other productions of the project were released on this label.

BIOGRAPHIE
Life’s Decay est un projet français, basé à Paris. Il est né début 2003. Lyktwasst en est l’auteur.
Depuis sa création, quatre albums principaux ont vu le jour : un CD nommé "Art Decay Extremism" en 2004, l’album "Anleva" en 2005, "Lysselia" en 2006 et "Szilentia", le nouvel album disponible depuis septembre 2007.
Jusqu’en 2005, Lyktwasst était seul au centre du projet, réalisant toutes les étapes, du concept à l’accomplissement. Depuis il travaille avec Alea, chanteuse et parolière. Elle commence à travailler également la musique avec Lyktwasst en introduisant des instruments classiques acoustiques.
Life’s Decay a la volonté de créer un univers à part, musical et visuel, influencé par des univers éclectiques : néo-classique, dark martial industriel, experimental pop...
Une grande évolution musicale s’est produite entre le premier album "Art Decay Extremism" et "Szilentia". Lyktwasst et Alea unissent leur passion de la musique et de l’innovation pour offrir des albums différents les uns des autres, investis et ancrés dans leur propre univers.
Le graphisme a une grande importance dans le projet. Lyktwasst crée des artworks en applat de noir et blanc qui instaurent un univers "rétro-luxury". Musique et visuels sont entièrement liés. Il réalise également les photos, les vidéo clips, sites internets etc...
Lyktwasst a créé le label « Abstraktsens Produktions » en 2004 pour assurer la production, promotion et distribution de Life’s Decay. Tous les CD et autres productions du projet sont sortis sur ce label.
