About Me

Gallego-Cubano-Welsch mix. Talk soft, play LOUD! See in color, think in pretzels, sense in extremes. I play in a few bands. The New Madrid Click is my original groove band, Pithecanfunkus Erectus is my soul-funk-rock cover band with buddies Dave Woolworth, Max Williams and Robert Chaffe from the Kudzu Kings and sometimes Tyler Rayburn from Daybreak Down or Bradley Gordon from the NMC and Eric Deaton from Jimbo Mathus' Knockdown South. I also play with the Cooters sometimes as "Tom Queyja and the Cooters" or when Max Hipp is involved, simply, "MegaCooter". I play and record with Maggie Louie sometimes as well. Come see, hear and feel us! I have a recording studio called the LIP where I work on some of my material as well as others' such as Simon Scott, The Cooters , Josh Kelley, etc... I have worked at another studio called Sweet Tea where I assisted and/or engineered on recordings for The Psychic Hearts, Blue Mountain, Garrison Starr, Modest Mouse, Gavin DeGraw etc... I handle the production (pre and post) for Thacker MTN Radio.
